The Ontario Spring Discovery Show 2023 has come to a close in Jerseyville, ON with the Jersey, Intense Joel Delphie-ET, being selected by the independent ‘Hall of Fame’ committee as the Supreme Champion for Weeksdale Holsteins, Pleasant Valley, PEI. She’s joined by the Holstein winning Reserve honors – Fraeland Doorman Bourbon – a 4-Year-Old bred and owned by Fraeland Farms, Fergus, ON.
For Supreme heifer, the committee fell in love with Pleasantview Master Danelle. She was the first place fall yearling and took home Junior Champion of the Holstein show the day prior for Adam Clark, Clarkvalley, and Colin & Karen Leach, Beaverton, ON. Adding more excitement to their day, Clarkvalley also exhibited the Reserve Supreme heifer. She’s the Jersey – Charlyn Certified VIP Velvet!
286 head of cattle (179 Holsteins and 107 Jerseys) paraded through the ring throughout the two-days at Ontario Spring Discovery Show 2023. Terri Packard was the official judge for the Jersey show and Mike Deaver handled the Holsteins.
