Ontario Spring Discovery Show 2023

The Ontario Spring Discovery Show 2023 has concluded in Jerseyville, ON at the Ancaster Fairgrounds! 286 head of cattle (179 Holsteins and 107 Jerseys) paraded through the ring over two days. Terri Packard was the official judge for the Jersey show and Mike Deaver handled the Holstein duties.

An independent ‘Hall of Fame’ committee selected the Supreme Champion of the show after judges Packard and Deaver finished their shows. Lowell Lindsay, Brian Sayles, Larry Bennett, Court Carmichael, and Brent Walker discussed the three Grand Champions and selected the Jersey as the Supreme Champion – Intense Joel Delphie-ET, owned by Weeksdale Holsteins of Pleasant Valley, PEI took home the prizes and the hardware! Reserve Supreme Champion

Judges Deaver and Packard conferred after selecting their respective Junior Champions and named the Holstein as the Supreme Junior Champion of the show with the Jersey as the Reserve Supreme Junior Champion!
