We’re excited to feature seven of California’s largest, most progressive dairy farms as hosts for our 15th Alta Advantage Showcase Tour, which will be held March 25-27, 2015.
Making a name for itself as the most progressive dairy tour in the industry, Showcase gives dairy producers from all around the world the opportunity to see first-hand the impressive management styles at Alta partner herds. Ranging in size from 1200-8500 cows, these host dairies of California’s southern San Joaquin Valley put great focus on various aspects of dairy farm management.
As part of the tour guests will rotate to various stations at each farm. Here they will gain insight to the attention these owners and managers put toward cow comfort and cooling, manure management, feed and nutrition, calf and heifer rearing, farm diversification, and see an assortment of milking parlor styles.
This invite-only event provides the opportunity to network with progressive-minded dairy producers from around the globe while gaining knowledge and discovering ideas for top-notch dairy management.
