The Royal Welsh Winter Fair is celebrating its 25th anniversary on 1 & 2 December at the showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells.
Along with the usual packed schedule of competitions, classes, exhibitions and displays the two-day event will be packed full of silver jubilee themed celebrations.
For the first time the fair will be opening its doors to the public for free after 4pm on the Monday evening for late night Christmas shopping. So whether you are after a unique gift for someone special, some tasty delicacies for the festive season or just fancy treating yourself make sure you take the opportunity to explore the hundreds of tradestands in the shopping pavilions, farmers markets and food hall.
Visitors on Monday evening will also be able to enjoy looking around the demonstrations and exhibitions, listening to the choirs and bands performing throughout the showground, and of course our younger visitors may also be lucky enough to meet Father Christmas (in Ty Ynys Môn from 4.30pm – 6pm).
The evening will be rounded off with a free celebratory firework display at 7pm.
