Lansing, Michigan – NorthStar Cooperative, Inc. is pleased to announce that Jessica Jakubik of Prescott, Michigan has accepted the position of Account Team Leader in western-central Michigan. In her new role, Jakubik will supervise a team of 16 employees and collectively work to establish stronger relationships with customers and member-owners providing superior customer care. NorthStar’s 230+ employees are divided amongst nine teams providing integrated services to farms throughout Michigan, northern Indiana, and northern Wisconsin.
Jakubik has been a Dairy Program Evaluator for NorthStar since graduating from Michigan State University (MSU) in May 2008. For the past seven years, she has worked with more than 160 dairy herds throughout Michigan and Indiana and will continue providing genetic consultation to limited herds. Jakubik brings proven leadership skills developed by her work on the Michigan Holstein Association Board of Directors, Advisor to Michigan Junior Holstein Association, and Assistant Dairy Judging Coach at MSU.
