Holbric Holsteins & Jerseys of Harvard, IL hosted the Holstein USA Classifier on Thursday June 11th with exciting results. The day ended with five new excellent cows, bringing the Holstein herd totals to 38 EX (15 of which are scored 92 points or higher), 94 VG and 36 GP.Highlights of the day included:

Lot 5 in the National Holstein Convention Sale-Holbric Barbwire Splish, now VG88 at 3-0. Splish is out of a VG87 Advent, from the Derrwyn Centra Selsy-Red EX91-2E-GMD, and was the 2013 Reserve Jr AA R&W Summer Yearling.
The Olbrich family would invite convention-goers to both the National Holstein Convention in St. Charles and the National Jersey Meeting in East Peoria to stop by the farm during their travels to and from the conventions.
Jersey herd highlights include Snafu Holbric TBone Diamond EX92, the first 16th generation EX cow of the Jersey breed. Diamond has a Tequila son at St. Jacobs. Sherona Minister Angel EX93, a daughter of WF Counciller Anakornkova-ET EX93, second dam Giprat Renn Anastasia-ET EX95. First choice of Angel’s seven March Premier calves sells in the National Jersey Heifer Sale.
