SHAWANO, Wis. — At the CST Storage annual dealers’ meeting in Palm Desert, Calif., Genex Farm Systems and Farm Systems’ employees were recognized for outstanding sales and service during 2013. Farm Systems, with facilities in Melrose, Minn.; Montgomery, Minn.; Menomonie, Wis.; and Lake Odessa, Mich., has been a dealer of CST Storage products – Slurrystores, Harvestores and related products – in the upper Midwest for 60 years.
Topping the list of awards was a first place finish among all North American dealers in total revenue growth, which earned Farm Systems a $25,000 prize check.
Among agricultural dealers, Farm Systems was named the CST Ag Channel Partner of the Year. This award was given based on total sales in all agricultural product categories. Farm Systems previously accepted this award in 1978, 1979 and 2013.
Farm Systems also earned dealer awards for top dollar volume in sales of Slurrystore structures and top percent increase in sales of new wholegoods.
Several Farm Systems employees earned individual awards in specific product categories. Joe McConohy of Menomonie, Wis., completed the second highest sales of Harvestore unloaders among all sales representatives. Ken Schneider of Farm Systems in Melrose, Minn., took third in sales for Harvestore unloaders. Matt Silbernick of Melrose, Minn., was the top salesman for Slurrystore structures and rebuild kits.
In addition, two employees earned lifetime retail sales awards. Schneider was recognized for achieving the $3 million milestone in lifetime sales of CST products. Silbernick was recognized for reaching $14 million in lifetime sales.
Silbernick was also among four individuals throughout North America who qualified for the CST President’s Council, based on points awarded for products sold. Moreover, Silbernick was named the CST Storage top salesman for 2013.
