Gold Ray is a December 2014 Goldwyn out of an EX93-2E Jasper, followed by an EX91 Storm and a VG Boulet Charles. A maternal sister to Gold Ray is Elmcroft Attic Reta VG89-2YR-89MS. Reta was the winning Senior 2 Year Old and Reserve Intermediate Champion at the 2014 St-Hyacinthe show, as well as placing fourth at the Royal as a Senior 2 Year Old. This year, Reta was the 6th place Senior 3 Year Old at World Dairy Expo.
