The Calf Company are very proud to announce that it has teamed up with TAG-by-ST to be able to offer semen from their outstanding stud of bulls.
This brings the great technological knowledge and advancements of Sexing technologies allied with the great cow families, and different sire stacks that TAG have been working with to bring something a little different to the British market.
The first bulls we have imported are all plus Fertility index, plus lifespan, good increases from production, all things to make profitable cows.
We feel that with current pressures on the industry highlight the fact that herds cannot carry passengers, and scrimping on sire quality now could impact your herds profitable for many years to come.
The first bulls to have semen imported include the high indexing outcross sire View-Home Day Missouri, sired by Minnigan Hills Day from a Robust daughter of a Zenith dam, he hails from the Rudy Missy family and has a PLI £523. Missouri offers the rare package of high milk and plus fertility index.
The next bull of some note is Mr. America Pageant a Cashmoney son from the VG87 Robust daughter of Ammon Peachy Shauna VG87 dam of current top bull Supersire (PLI of £501). The Calf Company will also be offering, Shauna’s Freddie son, Seagull-bay Sergeant.
Sergeant has his first 35 milking daughters in the US and is receiving much acclaim siring a modern style of cow with strength without extreme stature his management traits and milk yield are also noteworthy again having the rare combination of high production with plus Fertility scores, he offers A2/A2 too.
The stud is joined by another bull with high expectations as he gains a daughter proof this year, De-Su Ransom, a Robust son from a Ramos cow again making the modern type of cubicle cow with great management traits and offering £596 PLI outstanding for a bull of his age group, he is joined by his son Double Eagle Ransm Kobra he has £540 PLI with high type at 3.1 TM and a some what different sire stack coming from an Explode dam and Judd Grand dam.
For the more type orientated breeder we have the Mogul son Mr. Alphagen Dagon he is from a Domain cow from one of the strongest lines of the Raven family outstanding all-round type at 3.5 type merit puts him amongst the highest type bulls in the UK, he is joined by Mr. Donalynn Millennium, a McCutchen son out of a Hero Dam from the great brood cow Ronelee Outside Dabble EX91 with 3.4 type merit with good production and management traits. Millennium, along with Dagon are A2/A2 bulls.
