The BC Holstein Spring Show 2023 finished with a double win for Westcoast Holsteins, taking home both Grand and Reserve Grand Champion! Judge Callum McKinven
selected his winning 5-year-old, Wedgwood Unix Collette, as Grand Champion followed by the winning mature cow, Craigcrest Rubies Smarty Pants, as Reserve Grand Champion! Westcoast also had the Grand Champion of the Red & White Show with their junior 3-year-old, Kozak Awesome Bianca-Red.
The Intermediate Champion was exhibited by R&F Livestock of Cudworth, SK – TAG Unix Woundup, the winning junior 3-year-old. Elmbridge Mirand Lupa topped the spring yearling class on her way to being tapped as Junior Champion for T & L Cattle Ltd. of Cultus Lake, BC.
The show was held March 17 at Chilliwack Heritage Park in Chilliwack, BC and saw 169 head of Holsteins parade through the ring. Cowsmo was excited to be back in the west bringing you results and photos from the day! See photos and class placings from the Holstein show here!
