“An Ayrshire heifer calf will be awarded to a youth between the ages of 8 to 18 annually based on their application and an essay question. Our calves have always held a special place in Mom’s heart and were part of her daily routine. Mom was one of the most patient, understanding, warm hearted, loving, and caring individuals we will ever have had the privilege to know and love. She was extremely passionate about calves and enjoyed teaching responsibility, compassion, and independence. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t miss “our glue” that held it all together. We miss our Mom & Grandma tremendously and feel greatly honored to be able to award an Ayrshire calf to a youth annually in her honor & to remember those values she instilled in each of us.”
