All West/Select Sires Announces Summer Intern

All West/Select Sires is pleased to announce the addition of Frankie Gambonini to the team as this summer’s Communications Intern.

Frankie was raised in Petaluma, CA on her family’s 250 milking cow dairy. She grew up showing her own herd of registered Holstein cows, which is where she first became acquainted with the All West/Select Sires name.

In the fall, Frankie will be a senior at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where she is majoring in Dairy Science and minoring in Agribusiness. At Cal Poly, she has been extremely active in the Los Lecheros Dairy Club, serving as president this past year, and was a member of the Dairy Judging Team that competed at World Dairy Expo in 2015.

Frankie will be spending the summer creating promotional items for the SRS and SMS programs, along with riding with multiple All West technicians in both California and Washington. “I chose to intern with All West/Select Sires because of my interest in their breeding bulls and in dairy cattle genomics. I hope to meet many members of the All West team this summer and expand my knowledge about the AI industry.”

All West/Select Sires is one of nine member-owned cooperatives in the U.S. that make up the federation of Select Sires Inc. All West exists to enhance member/owners’ success through genetics.
