Obituary for Ontario Dairy Enthusiast Lowell SkinnerLowell F. Skinner, 58, of RR2, Monkton went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Beloved husband of Joyce Skinner. Loving father of Caleb, Nigel and Damon. Dear brother of Linda Reynolds and Richard Skinner (Lori). Dear son-in-law of Grace Benjamins. Dear brother-in-law of Grace Tamminga (Anthony), Anne Vander Meulen (Sid) and Bernita Bergsma (Dan). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Ron and Verlyn Skinner, father-in-law Everett Benjamins and niece Hillary Skinner.

Lowell loved his family. He also enjoyed sports and had a passion for music having sung at numerous weddings and in many quartets. He worked at Parmalat in Mitchell and was a member of the Jersey Ontario Club (Past President), Perth County Holstein Association and the Belgian Horse Association. He worshipped at Bethel Free Reformed Church (Munro), Mitchell.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bethel Free Reformed Church, Mitchell on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joel Overduin officiating. Interment in Bethel Munro Cemetery followed by a reception at the church hall. Memorial donations to the Lung Association, Toronto General Hospital MSICU or Youth Unlimited – Mitchell would be appreciated and may be made at www.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
