Genette Named Grand Champion at International Milking Shorthorn Show

Lazy M Wildside Genette-EXP, owned by Peter Vail of Englewood, Florida, was tapped Intermediate and Grand Champion of the International Milking Shorthorn Show. Genette earned the $1000 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Cash Award and took home the Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy along with her titles. First named Senior Champion and then Reserve Grand Champion was Pine-Valley-P Junebug-EXP, owned by Corstar Farm – C & K Salzl and L, J & J James of Litchfield, Minnesota.

Reserve Senior Champion honors went to Molehill Lottery Caliente, the winning Five-Year-Old Cow owned by Mike Gregory & Tyler Endres of Oxford, Wisconsin. Henkeseen Royalty Reason-EXP, the first- place Junior Three-Year-Old Cow owned by Trent Henkes and Matt Henkes of Luana, Iowa, was named Reserve Intermediate Champion of the International Milking Shorthorn Show.

The first place Fall Calf, Lands-Brook Knh Chilli-Pepper, captured the Junior Champion title at the International Milking Shorthorn Show. Chili-Pepper is owned by Peter Vail of Englewood, Florida. The title of Reserve Junior Champion went to Heavenly Lookin Good-ET, the winning Winter Yearling, owned by Brian & Traci Neely of Utica, Pennsylvania.

Lazy M Farm LLC – Michael and Herman Maier of Stitzer, Wisconsin took home three of the premier titles as Premier Breeder, Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder of the Heifer Show. Premier Sire was North Stars Presto-ET-EXP. In the heifer show, Premier Exhibitor honors went to Peter Vail of Englewood, Florida. Halpin Muddy Rockstar-TW was named Premier Sire of the heifer show.

Official judge Joe Sparrow of Owenton, Kentucky and associate judge Matt Fry of Chestertown, Maryland placed 243 entries.
