Vancouver Island Holstein Club Sale 2015

The Vancouver Island Holstein Club Sale took place October 8, 2015 in Duncan, BC. The sale averaged $3,368 on 32 Lots and was managed by the Vancouver Island  Holstein Club.

Top seller at $6,500 was Roemers Goldsun Ava VG86-3yr. Fresh in September, this Goldsun daughter is out of Roemers September Avril EX91-4E-1*, followed by five of the next six dams being scored VG or EX. She was the consignment of Roemer Farms, BC and purchased by Viewfield Farms, BC.

Second high seller was Poelman Aftershock Rumble VG85-2yr, selling for $5200. Rumble is an Aftershock granddaughter of Poelman Skychief Rickilee EX91-6E-3*, with a total of 41* in her pedigree. She was the consignment of Sunny Vale Farm, BC and was the purchase of Frueh Farms, BC.

Rounding out the top three selling individuals was Rockycrest Jordan Iris, selling for $5,000. This Jordan from a VG Shottle followed by a VG Mr Sam was fresh in August. Consigned by Rockycrest Holsteins, BC, she was the selection of Sunny Vale Farm, BC.
