A sale average of $3,116 was reached on 111 lots at the Rosayre Ayrshire Sale.

Sale Highlights


The sale, held on the farm at Rosayre Ayrshires, averaged $3,116 on 111 head.

Terrrace Bank took home the top seller at $18,000.  She was Lot 1, Rosayre BB Flip VG-88 2yr.  She was Jr Champion at the Royal IDS & Royal 2011.  She was also an All Canadian in both 2010 and 2011.

Bonnie Brae Phoenix ET VG-89, the Intermediate Champion at IDS 2012 and 1st Jr. 2 & Hon. Mention Intermediate Champion at the RAWF 2011.  She was the second highest seller at $13,200 and goes home to Sinclaair of Nova Scotia.

The third highest seller was Rosayre Lucky’s Lamborghini VG-89 and Nominated All-Canadian Senior Calf in 2009.  She sold for $13,000 to ferme J-G Faucher & Fils.

Du Petit Bois Remington Lune ET VG-86 brought $11,200, making her the fourth top seller, purchased by Ferme Lagacé.

Cumming Dairy purchased Rosayre Burdette Kermit, a senior yearling due to calve in May.  She was the Reserve Jr. Champion at the Royal in 2012.  She sold for $10,500.

Rosayre MMC Rage ET, a Jr 2-yr Old out of Rosayre BB Rebel EX-94, Res. All-Canadian in 2011 sold to Bernard & Cynthia Daoust for $10,500.

Rosayre Burdette Ryann, a Jr. Calf going back to Rosayre BB Riesling VG-89 3* Gr. Royal 2004 sold for $9,000 to Brett Maackechnie.
