Pride of Carpsdale Sale 2022 Averages $3,742

A great spring day and a large crowd saw the 100 full lots at the Pride of Carpsdale sale average $3,742 with a gross of nearly $375,000! The high seller at $19,000 was Lot 33 – Carpsdale-J Db Allspice-ET, a VG-88 Diamondback senior 3-year-old show prospect that is backed by four EX dams back to Chief Adeen/Starbuck Ada. She was purchased by Bill Lund of Norwalk, OH.
Rollnshedd Awe Sunup-Red-ET, carrying her new EX-94 score, sold as Lot 29 for $10,800 to Shawn & Seth Nehls and John Strieter of Hustisford, WI. A show winner on the New England circuit, Sunup is out of a Goldwyn dam and her 2nd dam is MD-Hillbrook Sunburst-Red EX-92, the All-American R&W Senior 3-Year-Old in 2012, then eight more VG & EX dams back to Dellia.
Lot 8 was third high seller at $9,000 – Budjon-Vail HP Drm Style-ET, an EX-90 EX-94-MS Doorman daughter out of Blondin Goldwyn Subliminal-ET EX-97 4E, the perennial show campaigner nominated All-American six times in milking form. Shawn & Seth Nehls of Hustisford, WI placed the final bid for Style.
The sale was. managed by Tim and Sharyn Abbott of Dairy Sales Alliance. Chris Hill and Dave Rama shared auctioneer responsibilities.
