National Milking Shorthorn Convention Sale 2015

The National Milking Shorthorn Convention wrapped up Saturday June 20, 2015 with their National Sale held at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Black River Falls, WI.  The sale averaged $2,660, and was

Topping the sale at $9,700 was Lot 2B, the first choice pick from 8 Perfect Storm heifers due in September  from Innisfail-WO Mega Ladyluck-ET VG88, the 2014 Unanimous All-American Milking Yearling. Ladyluck is from an All-American producing family. She is a Megadeath daughter of Innisfail RU Lady 5055 EXP, the 2009 All-American 4 Year Old and 2010 Reserve All-American 5 Year Old, and her second dam was the 2005 All-American Junior 3 Year Old and 2004 Reserve All-American Junior 2 Year Old. The pick was consigned by Mike Maier, WI and purchased by Carrie Ritschard, WI.

Second high seller of the day was Lot 62, selling for $8,750.  MYSHA-WO McCinnamon-ET EX90 is due September first with a Liriano heifer calf, to show as a third calf Senior 3 Year Old for this fall. McCinnamon was the HM All-American Senior 2 Year Old for 2014 after being the Grand Champion at the Minnesota State Fair. She is an Othello daughter from the 2001 All-American Senior 2 Year Bar-D Mi-San Acres McNugget 3E-93. McCinnamon was consigned by MYSHA Herd and Katie Bue, IA. She was purchased by Todd Thomas.

Third high seller of the day was Lot 57, Cherrylock Lovers Liriano EXP,  selling for $6,500. A Junior 2 Year Old for 2015, Lovers Liriano was fresh in April. She is a Liriano from a VG86 Mudslinger. She is from the same family as Cherrywood KCLAY Judea V, the 2009 Minnesota State Fair Supreme Champion and All-American Junior 3 Year Old. She was consigned by Brad & Jessica Gavenlock, WI and purchased by Ron Andrews.
