Mil-R-Mor Generations Sale 2015

There is a changing of the guard at Mil-R-Mor Holsteins in Orangeville, IL, prompting the Mil-R-Mor Generations Sale on Saturday October 17, 2015. Bob and Kaye Miller are officially turning the reins over to granddaughter Lorilee Schultz, who has been managing the herd for several years. The sale is being managed by Courtney Sales LLC. The sale averaged $2,466.

Topping the sale was Lot 8, Mil-R-Mor Atwood Radiant VG87. She sold for $6,800 to Calli Reeverts, IL. Radiant is an Atwood Senior 2 Year Old from an EX90 Bolton, followed by ten more generations of EX Roxys.

Lot 82 was second high seller at $5,300 was Mil-R-Mor Auspicious-Red. Auspicious is an October 2014 Barbwire from an EX90 Debonair daughter of Clover-Mist Alisha EX93-3E-GMD-DOM, followed by four more EX dams including D-R-A August EX96-4E-DOM.

Rounding out the top three high sellers was Lot 1, Mil-R-Mor Abslt Cabernet-ET, selling for $5,100. Cabernet is a June 2015 Absolute from an EX93 Aftershock daughter of Golden Oaks Champ Rae-ET EX93-3E, with seven more generations of EX Roxys. This is the same branch of the family that produced WDE & AADS Junior Champion Golden Oaks Sid Charlise.
