Applemania swept Fond du Lac, WI on Friday March 20th as all things Apple were celebrated. Testament to the impact is cow is making on both the red and black aspects of the Holstein breed were evident in the $6,717 average on 92 live lots.

The sale was hosted by the Apple Partners LLC and  managed by the Great Northern Land & Cattle Company.

Topping the sale at $50,000 was Lot 99, KHW Rgmnt Apple A2-Red-ETN EX91. Apple A2 is a clone of Apple EX96-3E-6* who will show as a 4 year old for 2015. Apple A2 won the International Red & White Futurity at the 2014 World Dairy Expo. She is due in June with a Blondin Intergal ultrasounded female. She was consigned by Apple Partners II.

Second high seller at $20,000 was Lot 71, Gold Barbara Burgundy-ET *RC, an October 2014 Apples Absolute-Red daughter of Butz-Butler Gold Barbara-ET EX92, three-time All-American. Burgundy was the consignment of Kueffner, Iager, River Valley & St. Jacobs.
