World Dairy Expo International Futurity Entry Deadline Quickly Approaching

MADISON, WIS. – Dairy cattle exhibitors wishing to participate in the 2018 World Dairy Expo International Futurity must submit their entries by midnight (CDT) on November 1, 2015. Animals eligible for the 2018 show must have been born between September 1, 2014 and August 31, 2015.

Entries can be submitted through the online cattle entry system on the Expo website, or paper entries can be mailed, if postmarked by November 1, 2015, to the World Dairy Expo office. A one-time fee of $50 is required to enter as well as paying the stalling and entry fee for the 2018 show.

Cattle entered in the International Futurity will compete throughout the week in each breed’s respective Three-Year-Old Futurity class. Champion Futurity winners from each breed will go on to compete for the International Futurity Overall Champion and Reserve Champion on Saturday of the show.

Recognized as the meeting place for the global dairy industry, World Dairy Expo attracts more than 70,000 attendees from over 90 countries to Madison, Wis. each year. The annual event will take place October 4 – 8, 2016 with the theme of “Celebrate 50!” to commemorate its golden anniversary.
