With World Dairy Expo 2022 now behind us and our eyes set on the future, I have some news to share with you. After six-and-a-half years with World Dairy Expo, I am leaving my position as communications manager on Friday. Starting next week, Jenna Langrehr will be your Expo point of contact for media needs in the interim.
As I reflect on my time at World Dairy Expo, I am so thankful for you. Together, we have shared stories that highlight winners on the colored shavings, companies introducing new products in the Trade Show, youth achieving greatness and the people who make the dairy industry the best community there is.
I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my career in the dairy industry, and I firmly believe you are to thank for that. In these final days, I have a few requests for you.
- If you have not done so yet, please complete the brief post-event media survey. These responses are shared with Expo staff and leadership to make changes for future events. Responses are due tomorrow, November 9.
- Expo is entering the beginning stages of strategic planning. One of the first steps is a survey for Expo stakeholders. When this becomes available, please take the time to share your candid thoughts. It is through your feedback that World Dairy Expo will continue to be the meeting place of the global dairy industry and the premier dairy event on Earth.
- When hiring details become available, please consider sharing them with talented individuals who you want to work with in this role.
I truly don’t believe I can say thank you enough for all you do for World Dairy Expo and have done for me. I look forward to seeing you at WDE 2023 in my new role as an Expo volunteer!
