The winning Lifetime Milk Production Cow, Luck-E Merjack Asalia, took home Senior and Grand Champion titles at the 2025 International Junior Holstein Show at World Dairy Expo® on Sunday. For this honor, Asalia and owners, Tessa and Stella Schmocker, of Whitewater, Wis., received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award. The Reserve Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion was the winning Six-Year-Old & Older Cow, Oakfield Tatoo Tender-ET owned by Chloe and Claire Lamb, of Oakfield, N.Y.
Asalia and Tender were also the winners of the genomic merit awards in their respective classes. The genomic merit awards were added to the International Junior Holstein Show and International Holstein Show this year and the awards are sponsored by Siemers Holsteins, Newton, Wis.
Official judge, Pierre Boulet of Montmagny, Quebec, Canada, and associate judge, Richard Landry of Ste-Brigitte-des-Saults, Quebec, Canada, evaluated the 302 entries in the International Junior Holstein Show.
The Intermediate Champion, Toppglen Awesome Whodey-ET, was the winning Senior Three-Year-Old. She is owned by Chloe Yerina, of Johnstown, N.Y., Heritage Drive Me Crazy-ET, owned by Madison and Melanie Sarbacker, of Whitewater, Wis., was the winning Junior Three-Year-Old and Reserve Intermediate Champion.
Junior Champion of the 2025 International Junior Holstein Show was awarded to the first-place Summer Yearling, Karnview Bullseye Aboom-ET, owned by Caroline Egolf and Ellianna Cummings, of North Lewisburg, Ohio. Weigland Icandy Alexevie-ET, owned by Britney Smith of Norwood Young America, Minn., rose to the top of the Spring Yearling Class before being named Reserve Junior Champion at WDE.
