Over 300 Holstein enthusiasts gathered to view great cattle, enjoy a delicious lunch and learn more about the herd at the Mitch Breunig family’s Mystic Valley Dairy in Sauk County, Wisconsin. The outstanding herd, sired by many top bulls, displayed longevity, top production, extremely sound feet and legs and youthful udders that have withstood the test of time. The cows were on display for a few hours as the many visitors were able to admire the herd as well as participate in a judging contest. Kevin Jorgenson, a close friend of the family and East Central/Select Sire rep, welcomed the crowd and thanked the Breunig family for their warm hospitality. Kevin also talked about the herd and it’s many accolades. A special thanks to the Wisconsin Holstein Breed Improvement Committee for assisting in making this gathering a success.
