The Wisconsin Holstein Association announced on Monday that the board of directors has decided to cancel the 2021 Adult Convention and postpone their annual meeting and elections until 2022.
In a statement, the Baraboo-based breed organization said its board and staff felt this was the most responsible decision to make for its members at this time as COVID cases remain high in the state.
Meanwhile, the WHA will be announcing the winners of its yearly award winners in the coming months.
“WHA hopes to make formal presentations at state-wide events in 2021 in order to give these deserving recipients the recognition they deserve,” the memo said.
Last month, the Wisconsin Junior Holstein Association announced it will postpone its annual convention until the spring of 2021 out of safety concerns.
