Victory for Vieux Village at the International Ayrshire Show

Vieux Village Gentleman Joy, owned by Florent Foley of Piopolis, Quebec, Canada was named Grand Champion of the International Ayrshire Show after winning the Five-Year-Old Class and being named Senior Champion. She is the recipient of the Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy and the $1000 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. The winning Four-Year-Old Cow, Vieux Village G Montana, also owned by Florent Foley, followed as Reserve Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.

Intermediate Champion honors went to the winning Senior Three-Year-Old, B-Wil Kingsire Willow, owned by Pierre Boulet of Montmagny, Quebec, Canada. The winning Senior Two-Year-Old, Bricker-Farms King Cinderella, owned by Kurt and Michelle Wolf and Josh and Samantha Fairbanks of Guttenberg, Iowa, took Reserve Intermediate Champion.

The winning Winter Yearling, Budjon-Vail Autograph Kristina-ET, was named Junior Champion Female. She is bred and owned by Budjon, Peter Vail, Cole Rupprecht, Brothers Three, and Shawn and Seth Nehls of Watertown, Wis. The Reserve Junior Champion was Ullmstar A Rectify, the winning Fall Heifer Calf, owned by Damian & Kiley Ullmer of Seymour, Wis.

Premier Breeder of the International Ayrshire Show was Palmyra Farm of Hagerstown, Md. Glenmar-Dale Farms, Mark and Becky Brown, of Fennimore, Wis., was named Premier Exhibitor. Tim and Katie Busch of Grand-View Ayrshires, from Cecil, Wis., was named Premier Breeder of the Heifer Show, with Premier Exhibitor of the Heifer Show going to Peter Vail and Mile High, of Valatie, N.Y. Bear-Ayr Distinct Kingsire was named the Premier Sire of the International Ayrshire Show, while Marilie Autograph-ET was honored as the Premier Sire of the Heifer Show.

Official judge, Brandon Ferry, of Hilbert, Wis., and associate judge, Michelle Upchurch, of Hebron, Ill., evaluated the 318 entries in the International Ayrshire Show.
