The AJCA-NAJ Annual Meetings get underway next Wednesday, June 26 in Amarillo, Texas–with some great fundraising activities:
Thursday, it’s the fifth Cow Pie Bingo, for the benefit of Jersey Youth Academy. Yosemite Jersey Dairy has donated a Top 500 GJPI heifer this year–Yosemite Marvel Bingo-ET–and she has expressed A.I. interest. The board is now open, so contact Brad Barham or Dr. Cherie Bayer for your chance.
Also on Thursday evening, a live benefit auction will be held for the AJCC Research Foundation. Eight (8) lots will sell starting at 5:45 p.m. CDT. Check out the description of the lots, plus the highlight reel now, then contact any member of the sale force for assistance.
Friday, it’s the 56th National Heifer Sale, with 10% of sale proceeds going to fund national Jersey youth development programs. Every consignment has been genotyped, and the updated genomic evaluations have just been posted.
