US Ayrshire Raffle to Benefit National Youth Fund

The US Ayrshire Breeders Association is holding a calf raffle in conjunction with the 2016 US National Ayrshire Convention held in Oklahoma City, OK June 13th-17th. The calf being raffled is the meshing of two of the most showring decorated Ayrshire cows in North America: a March 2016 Deer-Hill Francis daughter of  Steam Valley Wilton Magic Bri EX94, donated by Kurt Wolf and John Cannon, IA. This little princess could be yours for as little as a $2 donation!2016 Calf Raffle Ad-web-1-web900Old Bankston JC Francis Bambi is sired by Deer-Hill Francis, a son of Sweet Pepper Black Francesca EX94.

Francesca needs little introduction, as a three-time champion at the Eastern State Expo, a two-time World Dairy Expo champion and a Royal Winter Fair Champion as well. Francesca was also a three-time unanimous All-American and a two-time unanimous All-Canadian selection.

On the bottom side of this glittering pedigree, Steam Valley Wilton Magic Bri EX94 has a long show-winning record, including a World Dairy Expo championship and two at the Royal Winter Fair. She was the unanimous All-American 5 Year Old in 2011, Honorable Mention All-American Aged Cow in 2012 and again selected as unanimous in the 100,000LB Cow class in 2013. In addition, she is a two-time All-Canadian selection.

Tickets for the calf, or an alternate prize of $500 cash, are $2 each or 3 for $5, and are available by contacting the US Ayrshire office. You can also print raffle tickets, and return them with payment to the US Ayrshire office by June 10th. The drawing will be held June 17th during the National Convention. If the holder of the winning ticket chooses the cash option, Bambi will then be sold in the National Convention Sale on the 17th, with those proceeds also going to the National Youth Fund.
