Uno is Number One at the International Guernsey Show

Springhill Kojack Uno-ETV, the winning Six-Year-Old & Older Cow, is the Grand Champion and Senior Champion of the International Guernsey Show at World Dairy Expo. She received the Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy and the $1000 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. Uno is owned by Melander, Robthorn, and Smith-Crest of Watertown, Wis. Valley Gem Atlas Malt-ET, owned by Valley Gem Farm of Cumberland, Wis., was Reserve Grand Champion and Reserve Senior Champion.

Intermediate Champion honors went to the winning Summer Junior Two-Year-Old, Cape May Latimer Honey, exhibited by Savannah Thomas of West Liberty, Ohio, who received the Eugene Nelson Intermediate Champion Award. Reserve Intermediate Champion was Hickman Valleys S Blakely, exhibited by Brittany Taylor, Grace Schuler and Laylaa Schuler, of New Glarus, Wis.

CB VG Jack Dont Forget Me-ETV, the winning Winter Heifer Calf, took home the honors of Junior Champion in the International Guernsey Show. She won the Norman E. Magnussen Memorial Award and was exhibited by Haley Beukema, Lauryn Weisensel, and Brynn Grewe of New Richmond, Wis.  Following in her footsteps as the Reserve Junior Champion of the International Guernsey Show was Empire Drone Patina, owned by Tim and Megan Schrupp of Paynesville, Minn.

Claiming Premier Breeder, Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder of the Heifer Show was Springhill, of Big Prairie, Ohio. Empire Guernseys, Tim & Megan Schrupp, Paynesville, Minn., was Premier Exhibitor of the Heifer Show, and the Premier Sire was Hi Guern View Levi Drone.

Official judge, Kevin Hartmann of Mulberry Grove, Ill., and associate judge, Ted deMent, Kenney, Ill., evaluated the 222 entries in the International Guernsey Show.
