We are very saddened to announce the passing of Marj Atkins, Leduc, AB. Everyone at Cowsmo sends our deepest thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Millet Agri-Plex, 5400 – 45 Avenue, Millet, AB.
Marj was a pillar within the industry. Alongside her husband Norm and family, they ran the prestigious Master Breeder herd, Continental Holsteins. In 2013, the Alberta Holstein Association created the Marj Atkins Achievement Award, a lifetime Achievement award that recognizes individuals for their commitment to the Holstein breed.
Marj left a lasting impression with anyone who had the opportunity to meet her.
