The 2015 Spring Dairy Expo will be held April 2-4 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio. This year’s event will once again offer activities for every dairy enthusiast, including junior competitions, breed shows and sales.
The 2015 will Spring Dairy Expo will feature seven breed shows. Chad Ryan of Fond du Lac, Wis., will judge the Ayrshire, Holstein and Red & White shows. Steve Wagner, Quarryville, Pa., will sort the Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Jersey and Milking Shorthorn classes.
There are also four breed sales set to take place during the event: the Midwest Revue Brown Swiss Sale; the Buckeye Dairy Club Ayrshire, Guernsey and Milking Shorthorn Sales; and the Best of Triple-T and Heath Sale will be returning this year featuring Jerseys.
For youth participants, there will once again be an All-Breed Youth Showmanship contest. The 4-H judging contest will also return this year. This is an annual highlight of the event that features hundreds of youth from Ohio and abroad.
Many more annual events will also be held such as the Silent Auction, Spring Dairy Expo breakfast and a dinner sponsored by ADA MidEast.
