Southern Alberta Farm Women participate in Farm Safety Training

This event is now into the full swing of things! See details on the third annual Ladies Farm Safety Training Event taking place today!

In conjunction with the Canadian Agricultural Safety Week, March 12 – 18, Agriculture for Life will host its third annual Ladies Farm Safety Training Event at the Rocky Mountain Equipment location in Balzac.

This important event reinforces safety messaging and teaches ladies how to keep themselves, their friends and families safe.  Through discussions and demonstrations, participants will learn about a wide variety of safety topics delivered by local volunteers and safety experts. Topics include an update on the Enhanced Protection for Farm and Ranch Workers Act presented by Alberta Occupational Health and Safety, an overview of STARS Air Ambulance rural services, and a culture of wellness presentation by AgriSafe.
