Four-Hills Abush Sammy, exhibited by Britney and Bradley Hill of Bristol, Vt., was named Grand and Senior Champion at the International Ayrshire Junior Show held on October 1 at World Dairy Expo 2013. She earned the Udder Comfort $500 Cash Award. The Reserve Grand and Reserve Senior Champion went to Jeffrey Hubbard Jr. of Thurmont, Md., exhibiting Spring Vale Burdt Applefritter. Judge Paul Trapp of Taylor, Wis. and Associate Judge Keith Topp of Botkins, Ohio placed 241 Ayrshires, 83 of which were Junior Exhibitors at the 2013 World Dairy Expo.
