Roz Rocks the International Ayrshire Show

Heineman Reagan Roz, owned by Angela Fuller of Attica, N.Y., was named Grand Champion of the International Ayrshire Show after winning the Four-Year-Old Class and Senior Champion. She is the recipient of the Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy and the $1000 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. The winning Six-Year-Old & Older Cow, Old-Bankston Jc Banner, owned by Glamourview-Iager & Walton of Walkersville, Md., followed as Reserve Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.

Intermediate Champion honors went to the winning Junior Three-Year-Old, Vieux Village G Montana, owned by Florent Foley of Piopolis, Quebec, Canada. The winning Senior Three-Year-Old, Heineman Kingsire Cold Brew, owned by Angela Fuller, took Reserve Intermediate Champion.

The Fall Heifer Calf duo took home the Junior Champion and Reserve Junior Champion banners. Junior Champion was Stylin Reynolds Monroe, owned by Leslie and Linda Bruchey of Westminster, Md., who also received the Norman E. Magnussen Memorial Award. Following as Reserve Junior Champion was Grand-View Champ Dyna, owned by Jacob, Logan and Madison Harbaugh from Marion, Wis.

Premier Breeder and Exhibitor of the International Ayrshire Show was awarded to Sunny Acres Farm of Georgetown, N.Y. In the heifer show, the Premier Breeder was Budjon-Vail, Lomira, Wis., while Premier Exhibitor went to Peter Vail, Mile High, of Englewood, Fla. Bear-Ayr Distinct Kingsire was named Premier Sire of the International Ayrshire Show.

Official judge, Kurt Wolf of Guttenberg, Iowa, and associate judge, Steve Searles, Pine Island, Minn., evaluated the 283 entries in the International Ayrshire Show.
