September 21, 2022 will be a day forever marked in the history of Encans Boulet. Surrounded by the love of his family, in the comfort of his home, Alfred left us to join his sweet Jeannette.
Founder of Encans Boulet, Alfred’s 36 years with the company were more than he imagined and full of adventure. He travelled many miles visiting farms, meeting people but above all he enriched himself with knowledge. Seeing new technology and ways of doing things, he would report back eager to share this new knowledge, something he really enjoyed.
We can still hear him say to us: “I saw that… I’m going to take you to see that… You should take two minutes, we’re going to see so and so, they do it like that, I think it would be good…”
Alfred liked to talk with people. If you found yourself sitting next to him somewhere then he must have asked you: “Who are you? What area are you from? How many kilos of quota do you have, or how much land do you cultivate? He liked getting to know people.
He was a positive man and always confident for the future. A head full of projects, for him but also for others! He had his own way of seeing the world of agriculture. His most innovative projects always pushed him forward. Too big was never enough for him!
Alfred was a passionate man and loved seeing young people take an interest in agriculture. He would often say “bring kids, it’s important if you want them to like it”
Alfred would have liked to been 20 years old again and be able to carry out all the projects he still had in his mind. Unfortunately, cancer decided otherwise.
It is TOGETHER, as he said so well, that we will strive to pursue this beautiful philosophy of life!

Le 21 sept 2022 sera un jour marqué à jamais, dans l’histoire des Encans Boulet.
Entouré de l’amour des siens, dans le confort de son foyer, Alfred nous a quitté pour rejoindre sa douce Jeannette.
Fondateur des Encans Boulet, 36 ans d’aventure dans laquelle il s’est pleinement réalisé.
Il en aura parcouru du chemin, visité des fermes, rencontré des gens mais surtout, il se sera enrichi de connaissances. Voir de nouvelles technologies et de nouvelles façons de faire, puis nous les partager, c’est ce qui l’allumait.
On l’entend encore nous dire : « j’ai vu ça … je vais vous amener voir ça… Tu devrais prendre deux minutes, on va aller voir un tel y fait ça comme ça, je pense que ça serait bon… »
Alfred aimait parler avec les gens. Si vous vous êtes retrouvé assis à côté de lui, quelque part alors il vous a sûrement demandé: « T’es un p’ti qui toi? Tu viens de quel coin? Tu as combien de kilos de quota, ou comment grand de terre tu cultives? » Il aimait connaitre les gens.
Il était un homme positif et toujours confiant pour l’avenir. La tête pleine de projets, pour lui mais aussi pour les autres!
Il avait une façon bien à lui, de voir le monde de l’agriculture. Ses projets les plus innovateurs le poussait toujours vers l’avant. Trop gros n’était jamais assez, pour lui!
Un homme passionné, Alfred adorait voir les jeunes s’intéresser à l’agriculture. Il disait: « amenés- les vos jeunes, c’est important si vous voulez qu’ils aiment ça »
C’est dernier temps, Alfred aurait aimé avoir à nouveau 20 ans pour réaliser tous les projets qu’il avait encore en tête.
Malheureusement, le cancer en aura décidé autrement.
C’est ENSEMBLE, comme il le disait si bien, que nous nous efforcerons à poursuivre, cette belle philosophie de vie!
