The Northeast All-Breeds Spring Guernsey Show 2023 has come to a close with Judge David Hanson selecting the winning 4-year-old, Knapps Digligle Quality Queenie, as his Senior and Grand Champion! Queenie, sired by Top Gun, has had an undefeated season thus far in 2023 for her owners, Lauren Nelson & Richard Giddings, of Brandon, VT. Following for Reserve Senior and Grand Champion along with Senior and Grand Champion of the Junior Show was the 2nd place 4-year-old, Retso AP Kiya-ETV, shown by Sylvia Johnson, Keenan Thygesen and Haley Beukema from Tunbridge, VT.
An Alex Jr. 3-Year-Old, Millborne Alex Bianca, was awarded Intermediate Champion for Morey Miller of Granby, CT. Winning Reserve honors and Intermediate Champion in the Junior Show was Heritage Brook AP Tinsel-ETV, the 1st prize Sr. 2-Year-Old for Zachary Johnson and Hannah Hurst, Tunbridge, VT.
It was a pair of Millborne bred beauties for Champions of the heifer show! Stealing the top spot is Millborne HP Drone Finley for Morey Miller and partners, M Hellenbrand and Peter Vail, of Granby, CT. The spring yearling followed for Reserve! She is Millborne HP Lambeau Teralee owned by Morey Miller and Hillpoint Partners from Granby, CT.
To cap off the Junior heifer show, Mill Bridge JCPenney Sassafras took home Junior Champion after placing 2nd in the winter yearling class for Sara Forman of Meriden, NH. Judge Hanson named the 2nd place summer yearling Reserve Junior Champion of the Junior Show. She is Poppydale Tampa Murphy leased by Brayden Bango and owned by Marybeth Trombly of Chateaugay, NY.
