Peterson Farm Wins Big at World Forage Analysis Superbowl

Out of 232 entries from 12 different states in the 41th World Forage Analysis Superbowl, Peterson Farm of Poplar Grove, Ill. was named the Worlds Forage Grand Champion.

They won this award with their Baleage category entry and were presented $2,500 from Legacy Seeds. The Forage Superbowl Luncheon presented awards to various finalists at World Dairy Expo. The Grand Champion First-Time Entrant award of $2,000, sponsored by Brevant seeds, went to Tilstock Farms of Plum City, Wis., with their Alfalfa Haylage category.

Quality Counts Awards were also presented to competitors during the luncheon. In the area of Quality Counts Corn Silage, Danny Krueger from Wausau, Wis. captured top honors with their BMR Corn Silage, sponsored by Silostop. For Quality Counts Hay/Haylage, Sand Creek Dairy of Hastings, Mich. made way to the top. Their award was sponsored by Agri-King.

The 2025 World Forage Analysis Superbowl was supported by division sponsors, Byron Seeds, Scherer Inc., Agri-King, Inc., QLF Agronomy, Ag-Bag by RCI, Lallemand Animal Nutrition, Kind Fischer, Barenbrug USA, and CROPLAN. Additional funds were provided by La Crosse Seed and ForageMate.
