It would be safe to say that what the BC Jersey Spring Show lacked in numbers was made up for ten-fold in quality. Judge Callum McKinven sorted through the classes as 69 animals paraded the ring in Chilliwack, BC – and what an impressive show it was! Ultimately, it was the 1st place 4-year-old, Pacific Edge Premier Diva-ET, who swept the titles of Grand Champion and Best Bred & Owned, in addition to a $10,000 check for her owners at Pacific Edge of Tillamook, OR! Fun fact: Diva is a past Cowsmo cover girl as she was featured on the front of the Fall 2022 issue!
Capping their big day, Pacific Edge also took home the Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor awards.
Topping the young cows for Intermediate Champion was the winning senior 3-year-old, Arethusa Victorious Vedia, for Misty Meadow Dairy of Tillamook, OR.
Finally, Judge McKinven tapped MM VIP Ruby-ET, the first prized fall yearling, as Junior Champion of the 2023 BC Jersey Spring Show. Ruby is also owned by Misty Meadow Dairy.
