Ohio Guernsey Named Grand Champion at 2013 All-American Junior Show

Marshall Overholt of Big Prairie, Ohio, claimed the Grand Champion title during the Premier National Junior Guernsey Show at the 2013 All American Dairy Show on Monday, Sept. 9, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show and Expo Center in Harrisburg.

Overholt’s entry Knadds Aaron Jade – ET also took home the title of Intermediate Champion of the show.

The Reserve Grand Champion title went to Logan Derickson of Middletown, Del., with her entry Milborne Fame Pixels Pixie. Derickson and Pixie also claimed the Senior Champion title.

Reserve Senior Champion honors went to Cara Woloohojian, West Greenwich, R.I., with her entry of Wee Acres Spider Clara Bell.

Judges for the show were Richard Giddings, Brandon, Vt., and Carrie Sears, South Deerfield, Mass.

The All-American Dairy Show features 22 shows in six days in addition to the nation’s only all-dairy antiques show. Last year’s event saw nearly 2,500 animals and more than 900 exhibitors from across the nation.
