Obituary for William F. Eustice

William Eustice_1cowsmo2017William F. Eustice 75, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, died on Wednesday August 16, 2017 at Meeker Manor Rehabilitation Center in Litchfield, Minnesota. Bill was born on August 8, 1942 in Platteville, Wisconsin, the son of Sherman and Rose (Wunderlin) Eustice. He attended Belmont Community Schools, graduated from Platteville High School and from UW- Madison with a major in Dairy Science.

Bill worked for National Holstein Association as a Holstein Feldman in Ohio, then in North and South Dakota, Nebraska and Minnesota. He also worked for Midwest Breeders. He then became a well- known international Holstein exporter & importer and domestic sales agent.  He organized the first plane load of cattle out of the St. Paul/Minneapolis airport for export. Bill was very passionate about genetics and developed a herd of Registered Holsteins with the prefix Exodus Holstein. He was the breeder of many “Excellent” cows and bulls and has received many honors. Bill spread his knowledge to fellow Holstein breeders local, state, nation and worldwide.

He was an avid MN Vikings football fan.

He is survived by one full brother, John (Kathleen) Eustice, Egan MN; one full sister Josetta (Eustice) McNett (Allen Miksch); 3 nieces, 4 nephews, many cousins and special friends Elmer & Eunice Howe and Mike and Dan Brash.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Joy Eustice (1984) and his parents.

Celebrations of life will be held at Maresh Funeral Home, Silver Lake, MN from 1:00 to 3:00pm Sunday September 17, 2017 and at The Sports Page, Belmont, WI from 2:00- 4:00 on Sunday September 24, 2017.
