With deep sadness, but peacefully, with his family by his side, at Southlake Regional Health Care Centre, Newmarket, Friday, June 17, 2016, Gerald Edward Livingston, in his 81st year, born on February 18, 1936 and raised on the century farm, Woodbridge. Twice recipient of Master Breeder of Holstein Award. Past President of York County Holstein Club. Past chairman of the York County Milk Committee. Proud and enthusiastic lifetime dairy farmer. Beloved husband of Lois Williams. Cherished father of Doug and his wife Liana. Proud grandfather of Michael, Mitchel, and Austin. Dear brother of Carman and Margaret (both deceased), Bert and Muriel (both deceased), Mildred and Bill Bridle (both deceased), Aubrey (deceased) and Anne. Dear friend of Peter Meulendyk Jr.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday evening 7 – 9 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon 2- 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, June 23 at 11 o’clock.
Interment Nashville Cemetery.
