NHWSO Awards $8000 in scholarships

The National Holstein Women’s Scholarship Organization (NHWSO) recently awarded $8000 in scholarship to three deserving students at the 2018 National Holstein Convention in Michigan.

Carley Jayne Krull from Wisconsin and Alexandra Gambonini from California were at the Junior Awards Luncheon to receive their certificates and NHWSO life-membership pins from Scholarship Chair, Beth Neely Raney. Alex will receive a $5,000 Scholarship and Carley will receive a $2,500 scholarship. Kalli Sherer from Oregon (not at the convention) will also receive $2,500 Scholarship.

Semi-finalists for the scholarships this year were asked to prepare a video or advertisement about themselves. Click on the photos below to view each of the winner’s videos!
