Baraboo, Wis. (October 30, 2015) – Accelerated Genetics has recently hired two new additions to their staff, Clayton Harrington of Lake Creek, TX and Mark Ruhland of Prairie du Sac, WI.
The newest addition to Accelerated Genetics’ Western Region sales team is Clayton Harrington of Lake Creek, Texas. As District Sales Representative, Harrington is responsible for providing products and service to primarily dairy customers in East Texas. The Texas Dairy Industry is one of the fastest growing dairy sheds in the U.S. with Texas currently ranked as the 6th largest milk producing state. Working with his top-performing and tenacious teammate, Michele Lookingbill, Harrington will play a significant role in enhancing Accelerated Genetics’ sales, profits and market share through the execution of sales objectives within this important Western Dairy State. Prior to joining Accelerated Genetics, Harrington was employed by Daisy Farms in Paris, Texas (established in 1917), which is a well-known family owned operation with strong brand recognition throughout the U.S. This milking herd consists of 800 cows. Clayton served as a reproduction technician gaining experience from both the dairy and beef segments of the industry. He is anxious to expand his skill set into the semen and animal health products sales arena with his new position.
Mark Ruhland joins the Accelerated Genetics team as Accounts Payable Clerk in the Finance Division based out of the Administration Office in Baraboo, Wis. Ruhland comes to Accelerated Genetics with over 20 years experience in the accounting field. He is primarily responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices as well as a host of other accounts payable related tasks. Hailing from the Prairie du Sac, Wis., Ruhland professes to be an outdoor enthusiast who takes full advantage of the prime hunting and fishing opportunities surrounding this area.
