New York Ayrshire Named Grand Champ of All-American Dairy Show

Melody-Lane Burdette Sally exhibited by Kaylyn Wood of Saranac, N.Y., was named Grand Champion of the National Ayrshire Show held on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the 2013 All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg.

“Sally” was named Senior Champion and the 5-Year-Old Cow class winner before topping the show.

Reserve Grand Champion went to Palmyra Ragimore-EV B GiGi-ET, the Junior 2-Year-Old class winner and Intermediate Champion, exhibited by the Ragimore Trust and Palmyra Farm of Hagerstown, Md.

Reserve intermediate champion was Designer Genes Olivia, exhibited by Seth Whiting of Slippery Rock, Pa.

Junior Champion was Palmyra Dreamer R Ginger, exhibited by Kayla Lenhart of Thurmont, Md., while Sunny-Acres TSB Karma-ET exhibited by Nancy Vaill of Pine Plains, N.Y., earned Reserve Junior Champion.

The judge for the event was Chris Hill of Thurmont, Md.
