In Class III trade at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, milk futures were mostly higher, continuing to bounce back from the lows set in June.
August was down $.08 at $17.06, September was up $.06 at $17.30, October was $.01 higher at $16.99, and November was up $.07 at $16.60.
Over in the spot market, cash cheese blocks were down $.01 at $1.805. The last offer uncovered was for one load at that price. Barrels were steady at $1.88.
Butter was $.01 lower at $2.2575. There was one trade at that price.
Nonfat dry milk was up $.015 at $.8475. There were a total of seven trades, two at $.8475 and five at $.85. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $.845. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $.85.
