Michael Patrick Heath, 58, of Westminster, MD passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the University of Maryland Medical Center.MPH

Born March 24, 1964, in Gettysburg, PA, he was the cherished son of Billy Joe and Betty Ann (Stiles) Heath of Westminster.

Michael was a graduate of Westminster High School, Class of 1982. He later graduated from Hawkeye Tech in Cedar Falls, IA. His greatest passion in life was being involved in all aspects of the cattle industry, whether showing, judging, selling, or breeding. His knowledge of the industry allowed him to judge dairy cattle shows locally and all over the world including Canada, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, and Switzerland. Michael was a mentor, especially to youth, and was always willing to help or give advice to anyone who needed it.

Surviving in addition to his parents is sister Susanne (Susie) V. Poole and husband Richard of Waynesboro, PA; niece Mackenzie N. Poole of Philadephia, PA; nephew Ryan C. Poole and wife Caitie of York, PA; great-nephews Alexander J. Poole and Rowan S. Poole; uncles and aunts Wayne R. Stiles and Allen and Kay Stiles; Howard and Patricia Stiles; Charlotte Meunier; Clifford Stiles, June Costa; Robert and Cindy Heath; Linda and John Tudor; David and Kathy Heath; Ronald Heath and their families. He was predeceased by Ruby, Jerry and Betty Heath.

The family will welcome friends on Monday, March 27, 2023, from 4pm to 8pm at the Carroll County Agriculture Center, 706 Agriculture Center Dr, Westminster, MD 21157. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 2pm at St. Mary’s United Church of Christ, 1441 Mayberry Rd, Westminster, MD 21158, with a visitation one hour prior to the start of the service.
