Holstein UK is Europe’s largest Independent Cattle Breed Society. As a parent company to the Cattle Information Service and The Centre for Dairy Information, we offer a range of services to the dairy farming industry targeted at improving the genetics and profitability of all cattle breeds in conjunction with ensuring the availability of new technology and data analysis to dairy farmers.
We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Media Manager to join the marketing team. This role will be predominantly office based at our Rickmansworth location but there will be a requirement to travel and work weekends.
A key requisite of this role will be to help develop brand standards across Holstein UK’s marketing mediums to improve business perception and reputation.
The successful applicant will have proven experience preparing and executing a marketing and communication plan in line with the business objectives and overseeing the design and implementation of all marketing and promotional material.
You will also be responsible for the production and approval of the Society’s bi-monthly Journal including copy writing and proofing the entire publication as well as developing, coordinating and implementing integrated and strategic features and articles for forthcoming Journal issues. This will involve maintaining buoyant advertising levels by touting for new advertisers and negotiating competitive rates.
This is a truly exciting position which requires a highly creative candidate with excellent communication and negotiation skills. A Bachelor’s degree, experience in the dairy industry, proven marketing media experience, and knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Google Analytics & Content Management Programs is essential for this role.
