Mark Chamberlain Joins Select Sires as Director of Information Systems

Select Sires Inc. has hired Mark Chamberlain as Director of Information Systems. In this position, Chamberlain will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the organization’s information systems and technology needs. Additionally, he will direct the planning and implementation of new technology projects. Chamberlain will also be a member of the National Association of Animal Breeders (NAAB) Information Processing Committee.

“We are excited to bring Mark on board to drive Select Sires’ technology initiatives in a new direction,” explains Chris England, Select Sires chief financial officer. “His background in the industry and senior-level technical and management experience make him a perfect fit for this position.”

Chamberlain has extensive experience in information technology, most recently being employed by Stoneridge, Inc., a global designer and manufacturer of electrical and electronic components for commercial, off-highway and agricultural vehicles. Previously he served as information technology manager for the American Jersey Cattle Association (AJCA) for 12 years. Chamberlain was raised on Hi-Land Farm, a progressive, registered Jersey dairy in western New York now operated by his father and uncle. He and his family reside in Fredericktown, Ohio.
