It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Logan Chalack of Wendon Holsteins. A Celebration of Life in memory of Logan will be held on July 5th at 1pm at the Crossroads Church in Red Deer, AB.
The church is located at the SW Corner of 32 Street and Highway 2, 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer.
Logan was a great friend and like a little brother to Lexi and myself (Ella). We watched Logan grow up and become an amazing son to Don & Wendy, Brother to Linsey (Shawn) & Jillian (Scott), Uncle to Paige, Nathan and Marshall and more recently father to Chloe and Husband to Charity.
He was a great judge of cattle and had amazing cow sense. He helped to build to Wendon Herd along side his dad to what it is today. There is no place he loved to be more than at home in his barn with his cows, or spending time with his family.
Logan was a bright light, loved by all who knew him, a good friend to so many. There are very few of us who knew him that did not have an entertaining Logan story.
He was kind and generous and smart and loved nothing more than to make a deal or buy or sell a good cow. He had a great zest for life and loved to play pranks on his friends but was always good natured when he was on the receiving end.
Logan’s life was much too short, but we can all take a page from his story in that he lived every day and each moment to the fullest. He filled it with laughter, fun and adventure and passion for his family, friends and his livelihood. He will be missed by many and we feel grateful to have known him for all of his life and are devastated for his family.
To you Loggie you were truly one of a kind and you will never be forgotten.
