Liquid Gold is the number 2 GLPI bull in the breed at +3392 (+3478 DGV). He is +2429 GTPI with a super +3.19 PTAT. This converts to £244 PLI & +2.37 UK Type Merit.
Liquid Gold is a Mapel Wood Boulder son of Oconnors Planet Lucia VG86 2yr, who was sold for $410,000 in the Genetics By Design Sale last November. Lucia is out of Lilac VG89 who is still the highest GLPI cow ever to be nominated All Canadian and her dam was the one and only Lila Z EX94.
Commenting on Liquid Gold Sterling Sires owner Paul Westaway said “We have been waiting for a while to make Liquid Gold and his brothers available in the UK, so it’s really exciting that we can release them today. We only have a limited amount of semen for now and it will be sold on a first come, first served basis. There are no restrictions or contracts on the semen so breeders using this first semen can sell embryos of progeny to whoever they wish”
Liquid Gold has two full brothers Genervations Fuzion (+£248 PLI +1.96 UK Type Merit) and Genervations Gizmo (+£200 PLI +2.49 UK Type) who are both also released today.
